Your thoughts, feelings and actions revolve around that other person, activity or substance, and you increasingly abandon your relationship with yourself.
So you need to fix you.
I see many people with codependency issues, it is nothing to be ashamed of but you do need to fix it. Because nobody can fix you, only you can.
